Back-End Developer

A rapidly-growing company making revolutionary products and services to revitalize the tech industry is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with building back-end solutions for e-commerce-like experiences and payment. The company aims to bridge the gap between consumers and local merchants by building an inclusive marketplace for all kinds of food and beverages. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy challenging complex problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions to meet critical product and business needs
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic 
• Maintain data interchange between server and the users 
• Design robust, secure and scalable features 
• Design and build scalable APIs 
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Extensive experience working with Node.js and Express
• Prior experiences with payment solutions is nice to have
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
