Job description

A US-based platform that develops rules to trigger physical engagements using data-driven analytics, artificial intelligence, and meaningful insights, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building highly performant and scalable products. The company's advanced technology ingests and contextualizes data from multiple sources in real-time, maximizing every opportunity for monetization, health, safety, and customer delight. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires 4+ hours overlap with the IST/PST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience
  • Develop and maintain fast, functional, and robust platform/product
  • Implement security and data protection practices
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable codes 
  • Analyze website performance and drive improvements 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Kafka, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Apache Flink 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
