Job description

A fast-growing firm that helps businesses grow their sales by delivering the best account planning solutions for their sales teams, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The selected candidate will serve as a key technical resource in the full development cycle. The company's custom integrated planning solutions help drive efficiency and improve organizational productivity that transforms businesses ​by seamlessly connecting information across Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to make rapid career progression while working in an agile development environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document, and deliver large-scale, distributed systems
  • Use Java, object-oriented (OO) design patterns, relational and NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques
  • Gather and analyze business and functional requirements and translate business requirements into technical design specifications
  • Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation
  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards
  • Work with senior and principal engineers to design software solutions
  • Encourages innovation and take a high level of ownership for the product vision, technical architecture, and project delivery
  • Produce realistic estimates, work with the business analysts, development managers, and PMs to ensure that tasks are completed within estimates.
  • Develop/Lead various application modules

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific knowledge of Java, SQL, and XML/JSON
  • Nice to have a sound knowledge of NoSQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, web services, and relational databases
  • Speak and write fluently in English
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
