Back-End Developer

A well-established pharmaceutical company that has pledged to make healthcare more accessible is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will apply software engineering best practices to create a solid foundation for product scale and expansion. The company is progressively moving forward in order to provide innovative solutions to the industry while using their strength as a specialist healthcare distributor. This role requires a substantial overlap with the SGT time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and optimize applications for high speed and scalability
• Increase the reliability and maintainability of the codebase
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define features and functionality that improve customer experience and add value
• Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
• Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Intuitively seek out areas within the organization to implement better technology for effectiveness and efficiency

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant back-end development experience
• Demonstrable experience working with Golang and PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Kubernetes is preferred
• Understanding of large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems
• Fluent in English and interpersonal skills
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
