Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is active in the digital currency transaction space is looking for a Back-end Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing high-quality products with best-in-class technologies. The industry-leading online cryptocurrency platform allows traders, merchants, and consumers to transact digitally. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, and it requires a minimum of 6 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the company’s performance marketing tools (Ad APIs SEO, internationalization, etc.)
  • Take ownership of projects to scale the platform and provide valuable insight on how to refine the team's processes and tools to support additional features in the architecture and code
  • Build reusable, high-quality code and libraries
  • Work with the product stakeholders to deliver new user-facing features on the website

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • At least 3+ years of Golang experience
  • Prior working experience with Ruby on Rails is desirable
  • Any payments, credit risk, or financial regulatory, and performance marketing tool experience is nice to have
  • Should have a knack for problem-solving and the ability to work in ambiguity
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy tackling  technical challenges
