Job description

A US-based online media platform that aims to engage users with interactive content, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The developer will be responsible for building out features for the mobile applications and mobile responsive web apps. The company is a multi-language platform specializing in content management, customer service, tourism and edutainment industry. The platform engages visitors with interactive information, videos, and graphics while also keeping employees up to date with protocol, shift changes, and announcements. This is a unique opportunity for the developer to join a talented team in building a creative solution and work in a fast-growing and data-oriented firm.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on upgrading and developing new features for mobile applications and responsive web apps
  • Detect and troubleshoot bugs on existing products
  • Work closely on admin panels using Angular and self-serve portals using React Native to fix bugs and issues
  • Monitor issues with web-responsive applications and mobile apps using React and React native respectively
  • Collaborate with the front-end and the back-end team mostly using PHP-based resources
  • Utilize Firebase for push notification management
  • Attend priority meetings with concerned teams to understand the development roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a back-end developer
  • Experience with technologies like React, Angular, React Native, PHP, and related frameworks
  • Must be willing to stay updated about the latest technologies
  • Knowledge about APIs is preferred
  • Ability to communicate regularly with different teams
  • Fluent in English
