Back-end Developer

A US-based healthtech company that developed a breath analysis device designed to monitor your health, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The developer will be responsible for using the latest technologies to work on data streaming and microservices for compartmentalized execution of algorithms. The VC-backed company has built the first integrative health optimization program intended to analyze physiological data. The device is used to diagnose diseases, track nutrition and optimize workout by 40K+ individuals and in 1000+ facilities and leading brands like Spartan Racing, WHOOP, MIT, etc. This will be a great opportunity to work with industry experts and rise quickly through the ranks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise, revise and evolve current software architectures
• Provide guidance in implementation decisions (e.g. API creations, repository management)
• Interface among product owner, management team, and development team
• Execute parts of implementation when needed
• Work closely with cross functional teams to design an interface with mobile and web applications, and to retrieve information from mobile devices from which health information is streamed in order to be processed 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of relevant back-end development experience 
• Demonstrable experience in AWS, .NET frameworks and Go
• Prior experience working with Kubernetes and Kafka
• Managerial skills and experience in Scrum/Agile management methodology
