Job description

An early-stage startup active in the cryptocurrency space is looking for a Back-end Developer. The selected candidate will be working on reviewing and improving the back-end structure of the application. The platform is dedicated to providing reliable, fast and unified data APIs to cryptocurrency markets. This will be an excellent opportunity for those looking to join a purpose-driven, fun and ambitious startup and shape its core product and technology. The role requires 8+ hours of overlap with the UTC time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the existing platform providing fast, reliable, and unified data using APIs on cryptocurrency markets
  • Quickly come up to speed with the code-base and related products
  • Work on developing new features for existing products
  • Review, identify issues, and improve the existing back-end services as you see fit
  • Collaborate with different teams whenever necessary to come up with new ideas and solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development
  • Deep knowledge of technologies like C# .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, SQL, and Git
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to speak fluent English and collaborate effectively on a regular basis
