Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is providing service of legal process and high-quality legal support services is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with the development of an internal software product that will require a client portal. The U.S.-based company is determined to radically transform the legal landscape by offering clients professional assistance for subpoenas, summonses, writs, petitions, and other documents. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are determined to work with a team of professionals and learn from their years of cumulative experience. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead several software, database, and integration projects as a self-reliant, driven full-stack developer
  • See the finish line and find your way around the racetrack
  • Participate in front-end development, database architecture, database administration, API and systems integrations, and the creation of business automation and reporting through the use of data and AI products, among other facets of data projects
  • Become completely engrossed in every facet of the project, from creating a broad project scope to assembling and arranging the necessary data inputs, development, organizational implementation, and assessment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with DevOps and TypeScript
  • Some prior API experience as well as integrating with APIs
  • Extensive background in front-end programming with tools like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Comprehensive understanding of Python and associated web frameworks, including Flask and Django
  • Thorough familiarity with BigQuery, MySQL, and SQL
  • Prior experience with EC2, Lightsail, Lambda, and AWS RDS
  • Strong desire to study and current familiarity with technology is required
  • Must be a self-starter with the capacity for independent work
  • Nice to have some familiarity with database-to-user interface technologies like Retool, Stacker,, etc.
  • Prior experience with database replication and REST APIs is desirable
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
