Job description

A fast-growing company that is creating revolutionary services and solutions for B2B software businesses is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be in charge of mentoring junior developers and performing impeccable code reviews. In addition to helping U.S. governments handle housing grants and loans to organizations that prioritize affordable housing, the company also supplies software to these governments. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. This will be a part-time role that could lead to full-time opportunities later. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Write effective, tested, and well-designed code
  • Resolve customer support inquiries promptly
  • Be responsible for the tickets you write and your work overall
  • Work together with multidisciplinary teams to develop and release new features


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2-3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Strong experience in Perl and PHP 
  • Comprehensive experience performing CRON jobs and utilizing RESTful APIs
  • Demonstrable experience using ticketing systems such as Linear/JIRA
  • Some familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
