Back-End Developer

A rapidly-growing company that is developing an innovative Crypto product that aims to close the existing gaps in the industry, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining databases, taking into account data modeling, optimization, and security. The company is helping people to protect their digital assets with multi-factor authentication using a phone and computer. This position requires 8+ hours of overlap with the CT time zone and 6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Put security mechanisms in place, such as data encryption, authentication, and authorization
• Work together with front-end programmers to make sure that front-end and back-end components are seamlessly integrated
• Track application performance and address problems as they appear
• Write code that is clear, effective, and maintainable by adhering to best practices

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Extensive experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB
• Demonstrable experience with Cloudflare, Serverless design pattern, encryption, and testing
• Some familiarity with Integration Testing, JSON, and Third-party APIs is nice to have
• Prior experience with Blockchain and AES/RSA Encryption is desirable
• Some understanding of Crypto and Security
• Excellent English communication skills, both conversational and written
