Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing global workforces with effective payments and compliance services is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be in charge of creating adaptable software and websites in accordance with user and client preferences. The company is developing revolutionary FinTech solutions to make it simpler for businesses to hire, pay, and manage independent contractors across the world legally. The company has managed to securely raise $3.5mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigate design consequences and strive for a balance between performance, maintainability, and utility
  • Abide by coding conventions, unit testing, code reviews, etc.
  • Debug and resolve problems with current programs and systems
  • Work together with a multidisciplinary team of designers, product developers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Node.js and MySQL
  • Prolific API Integrations knowledge and experience
  • Some understanding of Linux and Google Cloud Platform is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
