Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is redefining the computer industry by providing high-quality solutions for people and businesses to help them move forward, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for helping with the back-end projects related to API development and Security Vulnerability Remediation. The well-established MNC has cemented itself as the market leader in the innovative technology industry with their game-changing products. This position requires 8+ hours of overlap with the IST time zone and will be a long-term role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • For both new and old code, create, maintain, and execute unit tests.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development, and recommend changes to the existing tech stack
  • Assemble a team of engineers and other interested parties to guarantee a seamless user experience
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant systems that can handle heavy traffic and rapid expansion

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Java and Spring Boot
  • Demonstrable API development experience
  • Some REST API and Microservices experience is desirable
  • Excellent conversational and written English skills
