Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is on a mission to help online creators navigate and overcome the challenges of commerce content creation and distribution, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with building well-designed applications and carrying out platform integrations. The company is developing tools for fashion, home, and beauty lifestyle bloggers to enable them to produce shoppable content for free. This is a nice opportunity for developers to showcase their talents and work in a dynamic environment. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the weekly product development cycle and help convert product requirements into functionality
  • Spec, design, and build the core product functionality
  • Follow best practices to write high-quality, maintainable, scalable, testable, and efficient code
  • Deliver high-quality experiences and approach development with a high degree of craft

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Java, Spring Boot, and multithreading
  • Extensive experience with transactional databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Demonstrable experience working with a scripting language like Python
  • Prior experience with public Cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Nice to have some knowledge of REST, Git, and enhanced developer productivity tools
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms is desirable
  • Fluent in conversational and written English communication skills
