Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that is developing an AI-powered platform that leverages classroom analysis for personalized teaching development, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for implementing software development best practices, standards, and roadmaps. The company is facilitating teachers' ability to record lesson observations and provide training with concrete data points. This is an amazing opportunity for developers to work with a team of professionals while developing world-class solutions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of architecting and implementing new solutions
  • Maintain and ensure a consistent front-end framework
  • Implement agile methodologies while developing innovative products
  • Gather functional requirements and develop technical specifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience with AWS CLI and AWS Lambda
  • Prior experience with Serverless architecture and frameworks
  • Demonstrable experience with UML Diagram 
  • Solid OOD Focus experience
  • Extensive Database experience
  • Prior experience with Automated emailing and notification
  • Nice to have some knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and Java
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
