Job description

A rapidly growing, productivity, and employee training business that is passionately working to make people happier and more performant in their jobs, is looking for a Back-End AWS Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative features to improve customer interaction on the platform. The company is using behavioral science & technology to unlock habits and inculcate behaviors that can positively impact any business while making the workforce more productive. The ideal candidate should be able to provide an overlap with the CET time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Simplify engineering efforts by designing automated unit and integration tests
  • Conduct refactoring activities for improved code performance and stability
  • Harbor collaborative relationships within local and remote teams
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Conduct team stand-ups, and sprints, and make technical presentations
  • Keep up to date with the latest tech-related developments and methods 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Back-End Developer 
  • Comprehensive skills in microservices architectures and design patterns
  • Previous experience developing distributed applications with Microsoft technologies, such as C#, .NET/Core, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
  • Expertise in Cloud Native AWS services including Lambda, SQS, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lex, and Polly 
  • Solid understanding of complex distributed systems architectures in Windows, Linux, and Unix
  • Delivery mindset, solution-oriented, and driven to exceed quality expectations 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a deep appreciation for diverse experiences/approaches
  • Great spoken and written English communication skills
