Job description

An NYSE-listed company helping customers to improve and streamline legal processes by tapping into the power of AI-enabled legal technology is looking for an AWS Solution Architect. The selected candidate will be using modern industry best practices to create scalable systems and solve novel problems. The company's legal tech solutions aid lawyers and legal teams in improving legal outcomes and securing justice for their clients. The company has managed to successfully raise more than $200mn in funding so far.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines to automate quality checksStay up to date with the latest cloud trends and technologies in the industry
  • Manage infrastructure as code and support engineering teams to release software
  • Develop tools and support for teams to be able to self-manage in an owner-operator model
  • Collaborate with cloud developers, product managers, and designers to make necessary technical decisions 
  • Lead the architecture and design of the company’s client software interface

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • A minimum of 5+ years of work experience as an AWS Cloud Solution Architect
  • Strong AWS Orchestration of applications or interfaces using microservices (Docker/Kubernetes and RESTful API)
  • Extensive experience in Java, Python, C#, or Scala 
  • Demonstrable experience in databases such as MySQL and NoSQL
  • Prior experience with Jenkins, Code pipeline, code commit, and GitHub
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes 
  • Prolific experience in AWS RDS, AWS Lambda, and Kafka
  • Knowledge of AWS DevOps to deploy code to the production system
  • Nice to have experience in the Azure/GCP cloud platform
  • Experience in Terraform, Shell script, and Scala is a plus
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
