Job description

A fast-growing company that is innovatively enabling creators to make profit by developing and selling their dance NFTs is looking for an Android Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team to build an Android application from scratch while working closely with the CEO. The company is developing a fun and revolutionary way to collect the most in-demand NFTs created by the best dancers in the world. This is a great opportunity for engineers to be part of an amazing team and build next-gen technologies. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • From the ground up, lead the development of the Android mobile experience
  • Report directly to the founder 
  • Understand how to create mobile products from scratch
  • Capability to build quickly in the short term while keeping long-term quality and maintainability in mind
  • Ship the first min-viable Android app prototype with slick streaming video navigation and exploration
  • Deliver the NFT gamified auction experience's MVP
  • Take on both experimental and production projects based on changing user and product needs
  • Develop and lead engineering teams and write testable code 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Proficiency in Android native app development with Kotlin or Java
  • Extensive knowledge of Jetpack Compose
  • Understanding of building smooth UI experiences through efficient code
  • Have an outstanding ability to share knowledge and ideas with teammates
  • Experience building consumer apps on mobile that delight users
  • Experience working in teams where you were expected to be autonomous and deliver at a rapid pace
  • Track record of leading technical projects to completion
