Job responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements in the BI context
Develop detailed and insightful reports and analysis models to help the business make informed decisions
Import data from distributed data sources and transform them into business intelligence solutions
Apply DAX queries and functions in the Power BI desktop to enhance data models with calculations
Develop, deploy, and administer BI solutions
Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics
Implement layered and robust security and data protection protocols to shield sensitive data from leaks
Analyze and suggest technical/strategic changes to enhance current BI solutions
Maintain detailed and up-to-date technical documents for future reference

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
High-level proficiency in creating analytical dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI or other data analytics tools like Tableau
Extensive working experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
Strong knowledge of business intelligence stacks having SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS tools
Knowledge of data analytics, data warehouse design, and data mining
Familiar and experienced in SQL, ETL framework, database management systems, and online analytical processing (OLAP)
Aware of JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Capable of tackling complex problems independently or by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis
Ability to learn and respond quickly in the fast-paced work environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and initiate
