Job description
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement microservices and back-end APIs
- Analyze performance to upgrade performance and functionality
- Collaborate with developers for creating code, testing, and setting off Node.js based services
- Write clean, efficient, testable, and reusable codes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop highly efficient back-end components
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Node.js development (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
- Profound knowledge of Node frameworks, including Express, StrongLoop, etc.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing microservices, REST, API design, and third-party libraries
- Strongholds on JavaScript its frameworks and libraries
- Proficient in supporting large-scale distributed system production support
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with relational database systems
- Understanding of code versioning tools like Git and GCP/AWS
- Knowledge of server-side logic and front-end performance optimization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
