Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience in android app development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Expertise in Java programming language
  • Strong working knowledge of Android SDK and related technologies
  • Clear understanding of Android design principles and guidelines
  • Experience in any of the design patterns - MVC, MVVM, MVP
  • Working experience with remote data using REST and JSON
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Understanding of complete android app development lifecycle
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices
