Job description

A leading supply chain automation platform promoting a sustainable future through transformational automation is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the Back-End team. As an engineer, you will help define the next generation of commerce while collaborating on complex supply chain automation software. The company is building software and platforms to make supply chains more economically and environmentally sustainable. It is backed by a top US private equity firm with a diverse portfolio of companies and over $14bn in committed capital. The selected engineer will be opportune to build a one-of-a-kind trucking platform to increase the earnings of the nation's largest profession.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn the ropes of the business to successfully take ownership of features from idea to production
  • Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems at a rapid pace
  • Debug production problems across services and multiple stack levels
  • Observe adequate practices to write high-quality, secure, maintainable, scalable, testable, and efficient code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience and hands-on experience developing production web services
  • 5 years of experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
  • 2 years minimum of Golang experience
  • Conversant with technologies, including GCP, Golang, Tensorflow, PostgreSQL, Typescript (Angular), Swift (iOS), and Kotlin (Android)
  • Keen interest in becoming familiar with the business context for the solutions you are building
  • Ability to hold yourself and others to a high standard when working with production systems
  • Experience with Kubernetes and GRPC is a plus
