Job description

A fast-paced company that has developed a platform that integrates the most comprehensive liquidity management, pricing, distribution, and risk management tools is looking for a Senior Operations Engineer. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with a production-aware mindset to support and maintain the company's 24x7 FX trading environment across Linux and Windows-based systems. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, high-stakes setting, ensuring operational integrity and the seamless performance of our platform around the clock. This position offers the chance to join an innovative team dedicated to redefining the future of financial technology. The company has managed to raise close to $70 mn in funding.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, notably in Linux systems administration, networking, and database technologies.
  • 7+ years of robust understanding of distributed computing principles along with a sound grasp of networking and UNIX system architecture.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and an understanding of Configuration Management and Deployment tools (e.g., Salt, Puppet) are valuable.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential
  • Great English communication skills, both spoken and written

Offer Details:

  • Long-term contractor position (no medical/paid leave)
  • Avilability during the weekend, when the work is more critical. The team is in on-call rotation, 24x7, but everyone is required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The job is Full-time dedication (40 hours/week) and there is flexibility on when the remaining hours should be worked.
  • REQUIRED: 4-hour overlap with IST (Indian Standard Time)
