Job description

A US-based publicly listed tech company running an online store embedded Shopify app is looking to hire a senior Shopify developer. The selected professional will be responsible for integrating Shopify Admin API and customizing themes as per the merchant’s choice through app blocks and snippets based on dynamic meta fields. The company manages a tool capable of enabling companies to manage their influencer network to manage and improve returns. This app serves as affiliate management software for Shopify stores, handling conversion tracking, commission rates, payouts, etc. For efficient coordination, selected developers will also need to overlap a certain portion of their workdays with EST.

Job Responsibilities:

Help to design and build out online Shopify e-commerce stores
Assist in crafting fresh new Shopify themes and customize the existing templates
Work alongside UX and UI design teams to produce robust, and engaging user experiences
Ensure integration with platform APIs, marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize performance
Take charge of scheduled testing and debugging of the applications
Assist in optimizing Shopify stores to improve conversion rates

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5 years of experience working as a Shopify developer
Must possess experience of building MVPs using Shopify
Ability to work with technologies like Node.js, React or Javascript is essential
Experience working with MongoDB or GraphQL is required
Must possess excellent communication skills with fluency in English
