Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has built an improved experience to connect patients across the country with cost-efficient prescription prices is looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist. The selected candidate will be responsible for formulating and defending an evidence-based point of view as well as using analytics to address challenges and identify efficient solutions to complicated situations. The US-based platform enables customers to save money and time by ordering prescription drugs online and picking them up at their local pharmacy or delivering them right to their preferred locations. The company has raised funding worth $170 mn+. This role presents an exciting opportunity and will be a great learning curve for developers.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a broad and diverse audience, including digital marketers, product managers, financial strategists, and data engineers
  • Work with cross-functional teams to strengthen data-driven decision-making and boost the culture in that direction
  • Define, track, and analyze product KPIs and business indicators
  • Create Tableau dashboards and the underlying data aggregations in AWS
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to instruct product strategy and evaluate new or existing products or features
  • Produce work that assists the executive team's decision-making process

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience with reporting responsibilities
  • Prolific experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Functional programming experience in Python, R, or other programming languages is nice to have
  • Experience in Looker, Tableau, or other similar BI tools
  • Ability to prioritize disparate requests and communicate timelines and statuses to a broad audience
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing
  • Experience performing research in social science is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
