Job description

A modern SaaS platform for environmental compliance is looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for resolving complex challenges and creating the future of environmental health and safety technology. The company specializes in hazardous material tracking and environmental data management and has raised $17.2 million in funding. This is a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to collaborate in a high-functioning team of trailblazers, difference makers, nature lovers, and technology geeks in building the required software solution.

Job Responsibilities:

Write and maintain high-quality, tested code
Collaborate within and outside the engineering team to meet customer needs and compliance standards
Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of industry experience as a full-stack software engineer
Experience at a growth-stage startup
Proficiency in React, GraphQL, and Node.js
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
Experience with AWS and code versioning tools such as Git and Github
Experience with testing such as Jest, Cypress, and building with JAM-stack
Strong desire to learn and apply knowledge
Fluency in English and good communication skills
Motivation to learn and create impact in a high-growth environment
Deep understanding of our business objectives and prioritize accordingly
