Job description

An online hiring platform that uses smartphone games to find the perfect candidates for jobs is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer. The company analyzes the candidates’ cognitive and personality traits based on their gameplays and matches these attributes to the companies’ top-performing employees. The startup is developed by scientists from Harvard and Stanford and has raised about $6.5mn in funding over 2 rounds. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing frontend-heavy work practices and designing the new features for the product. The selected candidate will get the opportunity to work with a fast-growing company and can rise quickly through the ranks.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop and manage frontend heavy work practices
Create and own new product features
Build scalable, readable, and well-documented stacks
Enhance the overall user experience and push new updates to the products
Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend frameworks
Proficient with Python, React, and Redux
Experience working with GCP, Elasticsearch, Google Cloud Datastore, Google App Engine is nice to have
Familiarity with FalconAPI, NDB frameworks, and software architecture is nice to have
Deep understanding of complex code bases and version control systems such as Git
Work as a team player and create unique ideas
