Job description

An online hiring platform that uses smartphone games to find the perfect candidates for jobs is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer. The company analyzes the candidates’ cognitive and personality traits based on their gameplays and matches these attributes to the companies’ top-performing employees. The startup is developed by scientists from Harvard and Stanford and has raised about $6.5mn in funding over 2 rounds. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing frontend-heavy work practices and designing the new features for the product. The selected candidate will get the opportunity to work with a fast-growing company and can rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and manage frontend heavy work practices 
  • Create and own new product features 
  • Build scalable, readable, and well-documented stacks 
  • Enhance the overall user experience and push new updates to the products 
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend frameworks
  • Proficient with Python, React, and Redux 
  • Experience working with GCP, Elasticsearch, Google Cloud Datastore, Google App Engine is nice to have
  • Familiarity with FalconAPI, NDB frameworks, and software architecture is nice to have
  • Deep understanding of complex code bases and version control systems such as Git 
  • Work as a team player and create unique ideas
