Senior Full-Stack Engineer

An NYSE-listed company that is using distributed storage technologies to optimize energy consumption in industries is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with data processing services like AWS Athena, ElasticSearch, or streaming and batch data services using Databricks. The company is providing AI-based solutions to help businesses simplify their clean energy management. The company has managed to secure more than $580mn in funding so far. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Auto-diagnose the root cause using AI-powered software, and automatically apply preventive measures or restore services
• Design and implement cloud-based applications
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver applications that enable a NOC operator to detect anomalies
• Develop both the back-end and front-end applications
• Develop applications and services that enable a Network Operations Center (NOC) operator to provision, monitor, and manage a fleet of energy storage systems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
• 7-10+ experience creating cloud or enterprise software
• Extensive experience writing single-page-applications (SPA) with JavaScript and React
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and an ability to understand the notion of document storing and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Python, Java, or C++ 
• Extensive experience integrating with and using Machine Learning platforms 
• Prior experience working with messaging queues like RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Demonstrable experience using time-series data stores and streaming/distributed data processing
• Experience with developing service-oriented or microservice architectures
• Familiarities with AWS solutions, like EKS, Athena, and Kinesis
• Some knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging and inspection
• Extensive experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring applications in real-time
• Solid understanding of containerization through Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum (and daily standups), sprints, and epics/stories
• Nice to have prior experience with the AWS Cloud Data Services 
• Knowledge of containerized Docker apps and deployment orchestration like Kubernetes is desirable
• Familiarity with ITSM concepts and Jira APIs is preferred
• Experience with Spark / Databricks and ElasticSearch or AWS Athena is nice to have
• Fluent in English communication
