Job description

A fast-growing company that makes it possible for grocery retailers to offer the most convenient shopping experience is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating reusable, testable, and upgradeable front-end components and frameworks. The startup enables retailers of all sizes to acquire new customers, establish loyalty, and raise basket sizes. The company has managed to raise close to $11 mn in funding. This position requires an overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating, deploying, and maintaining extremely responsive user interface components
  • Developing reusable, tested, and maintainable front-end components and libraries
  • Work with team members and stakeholders to achieve your goals
  • Design and wireframes are converted into high-quality code
  • Work in an Agile environment to provide high-quality software consistently
  • Strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Typescript
  • Knowledge of Node.js and React
  • Expertise in GraphQL is a plus
  • Experience in GCP and ElasticSearch is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
  • Understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Knowledge of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
  • Familiarity with different cloud solutions like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Strong English communication skills
