Job description

A fast-growing company developing modern fintech solutions that help businesses to accept card payments easily is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will collaborate with the team to develop scalable and maintainable code and innovative new features. The company's special services enable businesses to receive payments both offline and online at extremely cheap transaction rates that decline as they expand. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in an agile environment while tackling multifaceted issues. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and robust technologies, maintain existing technologies, and test various systems within the fintech space
  • Work in an agile environment within a Scrum team that allows you to participate and collaborate in sprint ceremonies
  • Lead projects under the guidance of the Product Manager
  • Work alongside the engineering team on the transition to the company’s development stack 
  • Own the end-to-end development of serverless microservice-based systems, including initial planning, development, and writing test cases
  • Create the deployment pipeline and deploying to the company’s cloud hosting provider
  • Develop new user-facing features that drive the company’s users to take action

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience in Typescript
  • Nice to have experience in Java
  • Experience with AWS and Serverless infrastructure
  • At least 5 + years of relevant experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework 
  • Experience with React.js is a plus
  • Ability to work within Node.js
  • Experience with REST API Integration
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
