Job description

A fast-emerging company featured in New York Times, Forbes, Tech Crunch, and other such publications for its unique jewelry rental business idea is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for adding new features while keeping the core programs running. The company is a rapidly expanding jewelry e-commerce business establishing itself as the ultimate retail brand for jewelry and accessories. This position requires an overlap with the Pacific time zone. The company has managed to raise close to $10.5 mn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide the greatest possible client experience
Create new features, work on all aspects of the product, and learn and improve rapidly
Share your expertise with other developers
Develop functional databases, applications, and servers

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Knowledge of system design and web infrastructure
You love solving problems and aren’t afraid of a challenge
Experience with Ruby, Rails, React, automated testing, architecture, API development, continuous deployment, relational databases, GraphQL, Heroku, AWS, or DevOps is a plus
Committed to learning and growing, in spite of having some things you know you already do really well
Customer-focused and capable of communicating thoughtfully with stakeholders outside the engineering team
Proficiency in English
