Job description

A US-based company that is designing a full-service experience to make the ESG journey accessible and achievable for businesses, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will collaborate with other stakeholders, such as designers and product managers, to acquire requirements and refine issues into value-focused milestones. Businesses can use the company's bespoke technology platform to collect, report, and evaluate data in real-time. The company has managed to successfully raise $18+ mn in funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features to improve our ESG data and reporting platform
  • Collaborate closely with other stakeholders, such as designers and product managers, to capture specifications and distill troubles into value-focused deliverables
  • Participate actively in our various Guilds to ensure that the team's output meets our quality and security objectives
  • Satisfy the customer through continuous delivery of the product 
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to help them develop and improve their skills and abilities
  • Work in small cycles and regularly reflect on the processes making changes where necessary to improve outcomes and effectiveness
  • Perform any additional tasks that are assigned to you

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 5+ years of experience with React and NextJS 
  • 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js 
  • 5+ years of experience with CI/CD and automated testing
  • Knowledge of Git and PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of Docker to package the services into containers
  • Familiarity with AWS for deployment, specifically ECS, ECR, RDS, Fargate, and Lambda.
  • Experience with Terraform to define the Infrastructure as Code
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • Proficiency in English
