Job description

A US-based company that manufactures electric scooters which provide dockless mobility systems is looking for a Senior Full-Stack (Back-End-Heavy) Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning the projects and managing the complete documentation. The company is channeling its efforts to reduce transportation barriers and improve access to education, jobs, and more to make daily life more efficient and pleasant. It has raised close to $10 mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the project and execute the tasks promptly
  • Manage the current Python microservices and AWS infrastructure
  • Participate in planning and documenting the projects
  • Work on the expansion of services and apps to fit the business needs

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in Python, AWS EC2, and ECS
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and GitHub actions
  • Familiarity with AWS IoT is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
