Job description

A US-based company providing fundamental end-to-end sales strategies on their data platform for built-in integrations is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with a global team, attending and participating in various activities and meetings. The sales intelligence and engagement platform enables enterprises to outperform their sales targets by a wide margin. During their Series C round, the company managed to raise close to $155mn in funding. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the IST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Back-end features in products must be designed, implemented, tested, deployed, and iterated on
  • Implement a pixel-perfect design delivered by designers that work across multiple browsers, in accordance with the specifications provided
  • Understand the Data Catalog stack and work to improve it 
  • Create systems that will help in improving the Leads data
  • Produce clean, well-structured code with detailed specifications and documentation
  • Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, automation, and continuous delivery
  • Communicate development progress or roadblocks to the product lead, engineering manager, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Work effectively as a member of a large global team by attending and participating in scrum ceremonies, on-call, and other team processes
  • Contribute to the engineering wikis and write unit/integration tests
  • Be a technical leader who can mentor other engineers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Understanding of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (ES6), React, Redux, Mongo, HTML, and CSS is a must
  • Experience with Cypress in writing meaningful tests 
  • Strong fundamentals of system design and experience building scalable systems
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Understanding of design systems and experience using them for front-end development is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop and define key business solutions
  • Capable of identifying areas for improvement and promoting best practices to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions
  • Capability to take ownership of everything you ship
  • Be proactive and inquisitive with the ability to probe deeper
  • Organized, conscientious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
