Job description

A rapidly-growing US-based company on a mission to empower and inspire people to adopt electric vehicles is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will join the founding team to help lead the API development and set the foundational processes and culture. The company is building the next generation of EV Charging hardware and software platform. It has managed to raise more than $1mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve and expand on existing applications
  • Create observable systems that can be improved over time
  • Create systems that are scalable and highly available
  • Contribute to the development of systems and processes by documenting them
  • Collaborate with the team and make well-thought-out decisions that motivate and inspire others
  • Work with a high degree of empathy with a track record of delivering on the full development lifecycle

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant full-stack engineering experience 
  • Must have expertise in Java
  • Knowledge of API design, distributed computing, and relational databases is a must
  • Be self-motivated, self-directed, and passionate about maintaining a healthy team culture
