Job description

A fast-growing company that combines the benefits of video gaming and technology and enabling users to have more fun is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing highly scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks. The company is on a mission to make gaming better, friendlier, and more social for users across the globe. This will be a full-time, long-term position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create component-based user interfaces in React Native that are used by a dedicated group of gamers on a daily basis
  • Participate in the processes and decision-making
  • When new features are added, ensure the platform's scalability and availability
  • Work closely with the CTO, Design, and Product teams
  • Create features that are seamlessly integrated using AAA game and platform APIs
  • Issues with software applications are triaged and debugged

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js is a must
  • Knowledge of React and React Native is required
  • Familiarity with Typescript is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Discord and Slack is preferred
  • Familiarity with MySQL database and AWS is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Google Firebase for analytics, feature-flagging, & push notifications knowledge is a bonus
