Job description

An emerging company on a mission to help users improve their lives and reach financial freedom is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for driving software development that will revolutionize the employer benefits space. The company is building next-gen fintech solutions that is helping employees get all their employer perks and making sound financial decisions. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset who look forward to tackling challenging problems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project management and evaluating technical tradeoffs between solutions
  • Improve product architecture regularly
  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams
  • Take full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment
  • Create ground-breaking features from the user interface to the database

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development is a must
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js is required
  • 3+ years of experience with React is a must
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases & data stores (e.g. Redis, Cassandra) is required
  • Experience working with product and UI/UX designers to create great user experiences is a must
  • Experience with the AWS ecosystem is nice to have
  • Familiarity with CI platforms such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Jenkins is a plus
  • Strong technical skills and a desire to create applications from the ground up are required
  • Natural entrepreneurship and ownership abilities
  • Empathy, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are all required
