Job description

A US-based company building an efficient platform to help job seekers get more interviews using data-driven recommendations to improve their resumes is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of regularly evaluating relevant technologies and influencing the architecture and design discussions. The company's vast database and advanced technology enables users to build a professional resume online within minutes. This position requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the codebase and work on the overall improvement
  • Create pixel-perfect UIs as well as tweak the API for performance
  • Improve the current state of the projects and create new features
  • Own some new projects that are yet in the pipeline
  • Create end-to-end tests and a CI/CD pipeline to ensure the web app's health
  • Incorporate an AI-powered resume grader to inform people about what is and isn't working on their resumes
  • Create an entirely new product from the ground up to recommend jobs to candidates who visit the platform 
  • Create an A/B test in the resume builder to see how adding more resume templates affects paid conversion rate
  • Work in an early-stage startup, adapt quickly with a desire to understand how to improve the health of the business

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 3+ years of experience working on different aspects of front-end, API, and database
  • Demonstrable expertise in Typescript, Angular, and web UI
  • Experience in Python/Django is a must
  • Familiarity with Postgres is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
