Job description

A US-based company building an innovative platform that provides comprehensive CRM, marketplace, and community solutions and services, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CTO and will play a key role in building out the MVP and helping to deliver the product against the company’s defined milestones. The platform enables users to finalize workouts with friends or create specialized workouts and share them with the fitness community. This is a great opportunity for developers to showcase their talent and fine-tune their skills.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to sprint-based product development as part of our scaling software engineering team
  • Work as a key contributor building technical solutions as part of the engineering team
  • Help to design, develop and maintain modern software solutions in a cloud environment
  • Implement automation and integration tests (TTD preferred)
  • Troubleshoot services to identify and remove blockers and respond to user feedback 
  • Work on monitoring analytics and propose solutions to build a reliable and scalable platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years professional software engineering experience in user-facing web applications
  • Must possess expertise in working with Node.js, React Native, Firebase, etc
  • Should have experience working with cloud platforms like GCP or alternatives
  • Deep understanding of modern web front-end 
  • Familiarity with component-based architecture patterns and cloud applications
  • Ability to utilize a variety of web services and application architecture
  • Knowledge of CICD processes, implementing unit testing and automated testing features
  • Expertise in planning, estimating, and working from user stories in an agile sprint-based team workflow
  • Must be able to collaborate and contribute as a member of a high-velocity cross-functional team
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies will be helpful
  • Interest in the fitness industry will be a big bonus
