Job description

A fast-growing company that is re-imagining how easy it is to build scalable web back-ends for the cloud is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be a key part of an early-stage startup by helping the company achieve its goals, along with building and deploying features from end to end. The platform can automatically solve the most difficult challenges in distributed computing and infrastructure, allowing developers to create fault-tolerant and infinitely scalable systems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build cutting edge cloud-native infrastructure on top of the public cloud
  • Tackle hard technical problems on behalf of the customers
  • Take ownership and execute assigned tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines 
  • Design, develop, and deliver fully functional products, provide a high-quality user experience, and overcome scalability issues  

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 4+ years of experience building large scale systems
  • 4+ years of experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Data structures, algorithms, concurrency, distributed systems, and other fundamentals in computer science must be strong
  • Experience developing fault-tolerant and highly scalable service-oriented architecture and microservices
  • Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies
  • Expertise with a public cloud provider's infrastructure as a service (IaaS) product, like EC2
  • Experience with the whole software life cycle, including creating and maintaining large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate well in a small, remote startup
