A rapidly-growing company dedicated to bridging the gap between access to scientific knowledge and its publication in peer-reviewed publications is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with identifying, proposing, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems. Through a sophisticated mobile and online application, the company is on a quest to increase the pace of scientific research. This is an exciting opportunity for developers eager to work with high-quality engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Work autonomously and share information effectively with the team
Write scalable code that will help the company to accomplish its mission
Proactively improve the quality of the codebase and practices
Assist the existing team in growing their engineering team and actively contributing to the company culture

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
5+ years of experience working with React and Django
Fluent at writing unit and integration tests
Experience designing fault-tolerant systems and APIs
Working knowledge of AWS cloud service offerings
Experience working with or designing micro/macro services
Experience with Python, Web3, Solidity, TypeScript, and Web APIs is desirable
Nice to have some experience building mobile apps with React Native
Good understanding of web architecture solutions (pub-sub, message queues, etc.)
Ability to multi-task and be productive while working remotely
Prior experience working in small agile teams is nice to have
