Job description

A US-based company that is determined to build innovative hardware solutions quickly, cohesively, and coherently is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The developer must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and making decisions without having all the answers in front of them. The company reliably pulls information from different sources and provides users with design data on one all-encompassing platform. The company has managed to raise more than $3mn during its Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the company's web platform with new functionality
  • Take ownership of the project from conception to finished product
  • Collect and consider input from coworkers and stakeholders.
  • Plan product roadmaps/features based on consumer and team feedback.
  • Keep up to current with new technology
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team
  • Play a vital role in the company's future

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery
  • Nice to have 5+ years of experience with AWS, React, C++, and GraphQL
  • Experience previously leading engineering teams
  • Experience collaborating with teams across the company (sales and design)
  • Build integrations with Autodesk, Solidworks, and other CAD/ECAD tools 
  • Experience defining automated testing frameworks/practices
  • Experience with online platform security infrastructure is a desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the complete web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Demonstrated success in producing products based on research that has a meaningful impact
  • B2B product knowledge and productivity/communication tools
  • Comfortable defining success metrics and making data-informed decisions
  • Be passionate about the company's mission and the future of the industry
