Job description

A rapidly expanding network of communities where people can engage in discussions around their interests, hobbies, and passions is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. As an engineer, you will help build top-notch products using both front-end and back-end technologies. The company is evolving and focused on bringing community, belonging, and empowerment to everyone in the world and providing delightful and relevant experiences to users. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable applications that will help the team grow. This role requires at least 4+ hours overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the full-stack web application development using a variety of coding languages and tools
  • Design and implement cutting-edge products
  • Work with product managers and designers to develop compelling user experiences
  • Advocate for scalable engineering processes and best practices
  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code for quick and efficient iterations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable skills in web application development using JavaScript or other relevant languages
  • Proficient with front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Core competency in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, Scala).
  • Familiar with software engineering best practices such as unit testing and code reviews, design, and documentation
  • Passion for the advertising space and understanding customer needs is a plus
  • Nice to have some experience in Go, Typescript, SQL, and Git
