Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating cooperative revenue streams for teams producing sports game content is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the Head of Engineering and the Founders while contributing significantly to forming the architecture of the no-code experience builder. The company is developing a comprehensive no-code platform for gaming publication and monetization with turnkey connectivity. This will be a full-time position and requires a significant overlap with the U.S. time zones. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of large-scale production services, online applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems design, construction, and maintenance 
  • Direct the course of the product by working closely with the cross-functional team, which comprises product and engineering professionals
  • Recognize source code to enhance the code-review procedure
  • Proactively point out the application's flaws and limitations and make suggestions for fixing them
  • Construct reliable tools for our partners while maintaining a balance between adaptability and dependability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • At least 4 years of experience building JavaScript Single-Page Applications (SPAs)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js
  • Familiarity working with MongoDB and ChakraUI
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with UX and design
  • Demonstrable experience building customer-centric products
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) principles and system design
  • Ability to assume responsibility for projects and bring them through to completion, including testing and deployment
  • Excellent conversational and written English communication skills

Nice to have

  • A passion for sports or data-driven decision-making
  • Prior experience with multi-tenant designs and authentication systems is desirable
  • Familiarity with no-code tools or prior experience building them is preferred
  • Experience in the media, e-commerce, or adtech industries would be nice to have
