Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a revolutionary AI-powered engine for intellectual property solutions is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be helping the team to improve the web application while constantly implementing feedback from stakeholders. The company is developing a cutting-edge solution that is currently in its Beta version for innovators, businesses, and law organizations. The company has managed to secure $3.8mn+ during their Pre-Seed round of funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

We are close to finishing the first version (beta) of our product which is a brand-new solution for innovators, businesses, and law firms.
We adopted React as the main framework to deliver our web app and on the backend, we have a Python/FastAPI set up to manage business rules and API keys.
You will be working with our team to improve our application, especially in terms of speed and performance.
Work extensively with React which was chosen as the primary framework for the web project
Cater to the end-users needs and build only the highest quality products
Work with a front-end developer who was just hired to provide further support for the app's growth so that the team may grow and the app can reach new heights
Improve the application with the team, paying special attention to its performance and speed
Adopt a transparent business model and work with the most driven engineers who are focused on achieving results
Ensure the program functions without a hitch and contribute to its performance enhancement

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
Extensive experience working with Python, React, Fast API, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
Prior experience with PostgreSQL and LLM apps is desirable
Nice to have some understanding of Swagger API, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
