Job description

An innovative FinTech startup that is helping credit unions attract young new members through easy account opening services and modern marketing approaches is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer. The engineer will work in close collaboration with the founding team and company’s leadership to help develop their initial products. The company aims to reimagine the financial world and help credit unions keep competitive in the present and future, empowering them to attract younger generations through the power of technology combined with an understanding of their wants and needs. This is a full-time position that requires a 6-hour overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code in order to bring the original designs to life
  • Integrate both front and back-end to build a secure and seamless front-end experience for the company’s core web product
  • Keep the long-term technical direction in view to maintain and scale the company’s web product suite
  • Help create an amazing and reliable user experience through simple, reliable and efficient interfaces, built with tools such asTypeScript, React, Node.js and Next.js
  • Help lead the development of infrastructure and tools for both front-end and back-end, with an ambitious product roadmap in mind

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full stack engineer
  • Vast experience with React, Node.js and Next.js
  • Experience with responsive HTML and CSS
  • Experience using data fetching libraries such asReact Query/Tanstack or tRPC to synchronize client and server data
  • Deep understanding of modern software engineering best practices, such as architecture, test-driven development, and component libraries
  • Profound knowledge about security in software engineering and how to build unbreachable systems
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps tools like Amazon Web Services, Git and Docker
  • Experience working in agile development teams is a must
  • Knowledge of and experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • A collaborative attitude and proactive approach to work
  • Great english communication skills
