Senior Full-Stack Engineer

A rapidly-scaling U.S.-based company that is focused on creating new tech that would revolutionize liquor store sales and management, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. Once selected, the candidate will work closely with the co-founder and CTO and be responsible for building a store Point-Of-Sale system from scratch. The company is building the only modern vertical software for liquor sale that will tap the exponential potential that the liquor business offers. This is a great opportunity for engineers who want to build something from the ground up and are looking towards influencing key business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of projects/features throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Resolve technical issues and work proactively to fix what is broken
• Prioritize features, define architecture, and select tech stacks
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve company goals
• Help build company culture and create team spirit 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Expertise with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, GCP, and Vercel
• Previous experience building native iOS or Android apps is a plus
• Background in and understanding of the Shopify APIs is also a plus
• Thorough understanding of software development principles- database design, algorithms, and data structures
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies 
• Excited to contribute at all levels of the stack as needed
• Good command over verbal and written English
