Senior Full-Stack Engineer

A fast-growing, self-funded media company that is utilizing the potential of short-form content to connect and promote businesses and creators, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for establishing the technical architecture and roadmap for the initiatives including brand marketing and talent management. The company gives creators and brands the tools they need to use new media to its fullest potential in order to engage, inspire, and amuse their communities. Job Responsibilities:

• Work together with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into technically sound solutions
• In the influencer sector, take the lead in developing and implementing data tools and processes to provide managers and marketers with more control
• Take charge of our current in-house IT systems, finding flaws and organizing efforts to improve stability and effectiveness
• Create a tech team and take charge of it, hiring and guiding skilled people to help our IT efforts thrive
• Drive the technological direction for our tech platform that caters to consumers, guaranteeing a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
• Keep abreast with new developments in technology and market trends, and make strategic recommendations to promote innovation inside the company

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
• 5+ years of experience with Python, JavaScript, and React
• Extensive work experience in a consumer-facing field, ideally in brand marketing, talent management, or digital entertainment
• Demonstrable experience successfully guiding technology for consumer-facing products, showcasing the ability to convert business goals into technical plans
• Exceptional skill in creating things from scratch, demonstrating the ability to create scalable and reliable systems
• In-depth knowledge in creating and managing IT teams and fostering a productive and cooperative work environment
• Prior involvement in a business at an early stage, demonstrating adaptability and the capacity to thrive in a hectic and dynamic setting
• Strong grasp of scripting languages and constructing data tools experience is desirable
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities with the capacity to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
