Job description

A U.S.-based fast-scaling startup that offers event-organizing services through its niche web-based software platform, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will work on the platform to make it more efficient and engaging by taking ownership of front-end and back-end operations. The company provides party planning services, bespoke customized digital invitations, greeting cards, and party themes/ideas. So far, the company has raised over $14mn in funding.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that can be reused by others
  • Understand user feedback and demand to create appealing front-end features
  • Ensure logical and smooth functioning of the platform’s server-side operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to set up goals and build a product roadmap
  • Effectively conduct code review and control activities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with and thorough knowledge of React and Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English communication skills
