Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a SaaS platform to help businesses garner more customers and grow exponentially, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will oversee the architecture and implementation of new product suite parts from both a front-end and back-end perspective in addition to reviewing code, mentoring junior engineers, and leading those efforts. The company is committed to developing consent-based marketing solutions to offer the most effective customer acquisition channel. This is a nice opportunity for developers eager to tackle interesting problems. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ship both front-end and back-end code that is clear, thoroughly tested, and very observable to production on a frequent basis
  • Take part in the strategy for iterating and improving the product, and assist in deciding on technical and strategic issues as we expand our platform
  • Work together on design requirements and discuss trade-offs of various strategies
  • Fix manufacturing problems and produce concise technical documentation
  • Play a key role in helping to build the newest pieces of our platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, or related technologies
  • Prior experience working with Node.js and Ruby
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, or equivalent experience
  • Nice to have some experience with maintaining a component library
  • Experience working with MongoDB and AWS is desirable
  • Nice to have some experience working and integrating with third-party APIs
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment using automated builds, testing and deployment is desirable
  • Must be a thoughtful team player that values good communication and transparency
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
